Meet The Team

Christy began her accounting career at Ernst & Young in 2006 after earning her Master of Accounting degree from Ohio State University and obtaining her CPA license. She went on to work as a financial analyst in industry before launching her own firm. With over 20 years of business experience, Christy brings deep expertise in accounting, audit, payroll, and tax. She especially enjoys cleaning up company books in QuickBooks Online and leading her dedicated team. Outside of work, Christy loves reading, gardening, and traveling with her husband and their four children.

Krista is a dedicated and detail-oriented nonprofit accountant with a strong passion for mission-driven work and financial transparency. With over 10 years of experience in nonprofit financial management, Krista specializes in grant compliance, donor reporting, and budgeting for organizations committed to social impact.  She manages the nonprofit team at Balance Ohio. Throughout her career, Krista has played a key role in strengthening financial operations for nonprofits by implementing sound accounting practices and streamlining financial reporting for boards, donors, and auditors. Krista holds a degree in Accounting from Eastern University and regularly participates in professional development focused on nonprofit financial stewardship. She lives in Chillicothe with her husband and two teenagers.

Maggie graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2022 and has been a part of the Balance Ohio team since 2023. She enjoys building meaningful connections with clients and takes pride in helping them stay organized. In her role as an admin, Maggie also loves supporting her team behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. Outside of work, you’ll find Maggie on the pickleball court, in the kitchen experimenting with new baking recipes, or getting lost in a good book.

Ellie joined the team in 2024 after graduating from Miami University with a degree in Economics. She enjoys problem solving, working with complex organizations, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency for her clients. She enjoys the close relationships fostered by Balance Ohio with both clients and colleagues. In her free time, Ellie enjoys traveling, baking, and trying new coffee shops around Columbus.

Kaitlyn brings over a decade of experience in administrative support and organizational management, along with a detail-oriented and collaborative approach. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and is QuickBooks certified, with a strong foundation in operations and financial coordination. She is dedicated to making a positive impact through thoughtful collaboration and attention to detail in her role. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and exploring local attractions with her kids.

With 15 years in the demanding restaurant management industry and a Hospitality Management degree, Tingting brings extensive knowledge in operational efficiency, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. Based in Plain City, Tingting is a mother of three who enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling. Tingting is committed to creating consistently positive and seamless client experiences, always striving to exceed their needs.

Madison joined the Balance Ohio team in January of 2026 and brings a diverse background in education, hospitality, and client-facing roles. She enjoys working with people and creating positive, organized experiences for both clients and colleagues. Her attention to detail and adaptability allow her to support teams efficiently while maintaining a welcoming and approachable environment.

Outside of work, Madison loves spending time reading, enjoying the summer sunshine, and spending time with her husband and kids.

With more than three years spent auditing nonprofits, Garrett has developed a keen understanding of the financial challenges and opportunities within the sector. Graduating from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Garrett holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, along with his Master of Business Administration. This background has given him a strong foundation in financial accuracy and compliance. He’s passionate about supporting organizations that are creating meaningful impact in their communities. He loves helping mission driven leaders strengthen their financial systems so they can focus on the work that matters most.
